Facial Soon

In about 1.5 hours I will be in a chair getting a facial done. Already today I have tried to talk myself out of going at least 5 times. I will be laughed at, the fat girl getting a facial. Like she has an reason to do that. The slob, she isnt chic material. Notice the cuts on her face? and the scars? Like she things this can help now. Making up the whispers that will be going on around me, behind my back. My paranoia is almost in full swing. But Damnit! I am still going. Who cares what they think, I want this for me, and if I like it then damnit I will get another one. I just wish that I didnt have 2 big pimples that I picked at on my face. Hell, maybe when I get there I will spring the extra $10 and get the Advanced Facial. *grins* I am not going to let my unfounded self doubting fears get me down anymore. I know I am going to have these same thoughts when I have to head to the Tai Chi class on the 10th.

Now I am going to head upstairs, get some NICE clothing on and get ready for my facial. I know that if I feel I look good I will have less of these thoughts.

Im Back from my Facial

It was very relaxing and my face feels NICE right now. I am glad that I stopped off at Winn Dick Me (winn dixie) and got a bottle of cough medicine to take before going. I only coughed once the whole time I was laying down. It would have been a whole lot worse if I hadnt taken anything for it. I get there and it is very empty. Maybe one other customer. That was nice. I did dress up alittle to make myself feel good. Of course it didnt matter because they told me to go into the bathroom, remove shirt and jewelry and put on the robe. The bra was optional. I at first removed the bra but then decided that the robe was little small for that. I headed back to the bathroom and put it back on. *grins* They had a glass of water for me when I got out and led me to the small room. I laid down and the woman took off my shoes and covered me. Then she started. Spritz, cleanser, scrub, steam, mask, steam, spritz. I think that was about it. *grins* 1 hour of relaxation. I need to find the CD they had in. At one point someone else came into the room and watched. Trying to be VERY quiet. I asked afterwards and it was because my lady was new at the proceduce and the other one was watching to make sure she didnt forget anything. Was just kinda weird how QUIET everything was. I wasnt sure if it would be ok to just gab away. I would have liked more talking I think. Or maybe not. The only other weird part was when I was giving a tip and she was like they will take care of that up front. I said that nono this was a tip. I hope that is ok. Then she took the money. I was really unsure about the etiquette with tipping. I have never been sure about tipping. I wish I had the money to get one of these a month. My face does feel really nice. I would also love to be able to get a massage every 2 weeks. That just isnt going to happen for awhile. We have more important things to buy.

Goals for the week (edited and reposted)

1) eat 2 servings of veges a day.
2) eat 1 of fruit.
3) Take a multivitamin
4) drink more water.
5) stand at work more.
6) start a food diary again.

To accomplish these. Put multivitamin in pill container with other pills I take in the morning. Place a cup in my bag to take it to work, since I brought the one I was using home to be cleaned. Place applesauce and pineapple in the fridge. Organize fridge so healthier stuff is in the front. Maybe work at one of the broken positions for a bit that is stuck in the up position. Buy a spiral bound journal.

Started my Cleanup

I went to yahoogroups and left redundant groups, or groups that dont have much traffic. I am trying to unclutter my email and of course my life. I do this list removal about twice a year. I need to find more specific ACTIVE lists or communities to help me fullfill goals and desires.

All done, had 19 lists, now down to 14. 2 I am still deciding on. Maybe make them web only. This is good, very good.

Got Preapproved

WooHoo. Just got a phone call from a mortgage company that I had called last week. We are preapproved for refinancing the house! When we got this house we didnt have ANY money to put down. We had to go with an unconventional lender and get 2 loans, 80/20. We knew the rates were NOT the greatest, but we wanted into a house. We also knew we had the ability to deal with the higher rates for 6-12 months until we could refinance. That time has come. I am EXCITED. We have approved with a conventional lender now, and at a MUCH lower rate. It will save us about $100/month even with having to take out more because of prepayment fees and other fees added into the loan. The only sticking point is what the house will have to appraise at. I think it is doable though. This area of town has go up alittle bit and we have the start of the additional room. *fingers and toes are crossed*

Kittens and the Vet

Went to the vet to get the kittens their final FeLV booster and now they are all taken care of for a year. They were so SCARED. They went to the back of the carrier and just huddled there when we got to the vet. Before that they were up at the door licking my fingers as we drove. It was in and out really quick. On the way home I opened the carrier and let them have the run of the car. I want them to learn to like car rides. I dont think they will ever be like Melodie is though. You say car ride and he is up in your arms wanting to go. He goes and sits in the back window flirting with the drivers. The only prob I had with the kittens is that they are small enough to crawl under the seats and then come up by the peddles and between my legs. They are about 4 months old now and so cute. I remember going outside when I first saw them and picking them up in towels. That was on 10/9 (had to check my LJ) They were so frighten and hissing. I could hold one in the palm of my hand. Now they chitter and purr and snuggle and are too big to hold in the palm of my hand. *wipes a tear* My babies are growing up.

I remembered what CD was playing when I was getting my facial, Oracle- Pool of Dreams. It was very good

When I took the cats I noticed that the big plate glass window of the clinic was now a board. On the 26th someone busted the window in daylight and snatched the collection jar they had on the table for donations. They said there was about 20-30 bucks if that in it. They caused alot of damage to get such a small amount of money. I am just glad they didnt do it at night and then went into the back to get drugs. This clinic is really just a spay and neuter non-profit. They dont have much in the way of drugs, but they do have anesthetic. I am betting someone somewhere would use it.

Computer parts from a mailorder place in CA and from Office Depot didnt show up today. They are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. That will make D happy. He can have fun building his system.

Yesterday R and I went to RadioShack and spent money. They have a special 1 year no interest, min payment. I got a pedometer, and a star chart. We also got an external zip drive, R got a CD/clock, we got M some things for her new palm pilot, and a couple of other little things. It was fun.

I stopped at Walden today after getting R from work and got 2 books. I had a 20% off one item coupon just wanting to be used. I got a cookbook for crockpots, and then a journal. *grins* No I am not a bookaholic. I can stop buying books at any time.
