TMI Zone

In an earlier post I alluded to decisions might have to be made after my doctor's visit today. The rabbit didnt die, so I am not pregnant. That to me is VERY good news. I do not want kids. I have known this since I was like 16 and started doing the baby sitting thing. I like kids when I can give them back.
Found out at my doctor's visit that my high blood pressure meds arent working, so she changed which ones I am on. That wasnt what I went to see her for, but it was good to find out. Maybe that is why I have been so tired, and headachy lately.
I am going to go into some gross female specific things. For those who are sensitive, dont read further.

Stupid Insurance

I want to fill my prescriptions. I really do damnit. First Walgreens tried to tell me that they dont accept my prescription plan. I just got off the phone with Merck Medco and they think they do. If I am so inclined I could call Walgreens and tell them how to figure out if they accept it or not. Forget it, let them lose money. I didnt get the pills because the total would have been 70 bucks. I took back the prescriptions and stopped at Rite Aid to get them filled. I found out that the High BP pill is not covered. Damnit again! I went to the merck medco website, and that is actually correct. I got a list of accepted alternatives. Tomorrow I get to call my doctor and tell her the alternatives, and hopefully have her phone in the prescription. This would make any person's blood pressure shoot up. *grumblegrump*

Update on Drugs

Well, the pharmacist at Rite Aid is on the ball. They just called back and said that Merck Medco has an equivilant product they make for the pill not covered and we can switch it w/o a doctor approval! I am going to head out and pick up both prescriptions before getting D from work. I am starting to get calm again, which is a good thing. Of course today ate up $40 dollars I dont have. *sighs*
