The days are slowly going by. I got my resume in the mail today and Caritas was nice enough to send it to me over email. I printed it out at work and was able to to show it to some. I found a couple of mistakes and will fix those before I post the thing in my journal. I am hoping when I post it my friends here will let me know what they thing. *grins* I am still debating about putting the resume on careerbuilder or monster. I just do not know. I have always just browsed the jobs. I have never put up my info for others to find. I guess I could. Who knows what may happen. Even with the jobs being outsourced and such I feel like there is opportunity out there for something. I am still waiting on finding out when I will be taking the postal exam.

Last night I was not in a good head space. My mind was turned in and around as I thought about things. Sometimes it is very hard to be. I am better today. We got a free lunch at work from Fazoli's. YUM! Plus it is Friday and a Payday. We will appease the bill gods. *Grins*

Ok, a small poll because I am slightly bored

Some places (like UofL) take over a month to even get someone to the interview process. It doesn't hurt to start sending them say in Sept 1 range so that by the time you get the call saying "when can you start?" it's close enough to Nov 30 that it's not a bad thing.
My .02 because it took 3 months for me to get a job the last time I was "downsized".

My take on it is: why would you risk missing out on a great job by deciding to wait till the very end to even start looking?
