Shopping Day

demarianaWe have not been full grocery shopping in about a month. We had been going to get some staples like milk and soda, but nothing major. The freezer and pantry was starting to get bare. Today Caritas and I headed to Meijer's to restock some items. I am getting better about not being a stickler about it should be on sale as well as have a coupon. I am trying to only be a bitch about that with junk food. Even then if I have a good coupon then we will see. Like today I picked up a bunch of small bags of chips for 25 cents each because I know I pay 50 cents each when I get them out of the machine at work. It saves money to just get them at the store and bring them. I need to do that with soda as well.

We got meat from the deli as well as 2- 24 packs of soda and a thing of sushi (YUM).
It took us about 2 hours in the store. My back hurts and I am TIRED. We got all the cold stuff put away. Caritas has offered to put the rest away tomorrow. I think we did pretty good today. Hopefully this will help us to eat at home more.
