Yesterday's Daily Dose

Phaeton and I went out to lunch and a movie. It was fun. We went and saw Looney Tunes, Back in Action again at the dollar theater, after getting Penn Station. I seem to always come out of the Carmike Theater with a HEADACHE. This is not a good thing. I need to figure out what is causing it. I am betting it is the quick change of dark to light. After the movie I came home and played some computer games before taking a nap. I headed out after my nap to get Jeshua from work. We went over to Walgreen's so he could look for another cane. I picked up 4 stockings at 1/2 price for the cats. They are all the same and cute. Friday night I went to Dollar Tree and got some of the 1/2 priced holiday stuff.

Jeshua and I came home and the 4 of us decided to head to dinner on the gift cards Caritas's mom gave us. We went to Olive Garden. (YUM!) The waiter was a trip. It was a lot of fun. We gave a nice tip. The food was very good. I brought some home.

We got home and watched Horror Express. This is a horror movie from 1972 that I picked up for Caritas. I know she likes campy schlock. I am unsure at times reading the box and looking at the pictures on a cover if what I am getting is that or not. I did get her 4 dvds for the holiday from the Meijer sale with the hope they fit the bill. Last night's offering was better than Blood Surf. It actually had some good lines.

Now it is time to start my day I think.

Shopping Day

We have not been full grocery shopping in about a month. We had been going to get some staples like milk and soda, but nothing major. The freezer and pantry was starting to get bare. Today Caritas and I headed to Meijer's to restock some items. I am getting better about not being a stickler about it should be on sale as well as have a coupon. I am trying to only be a bitch about that with junk food. Even then if I have a good coupon then we will see. Like today I picked up a bunch of small bags of chips for 25 cents each because I know I pay 50 cents each when I get them out of the machine at work. It saves money to just get them at the store and bring them. I need to do that with soda as well.

We got meat from the deli as well as 2- 24 packs of soda and a thing of sushi (YUM).

It took us about 2 hours in the store. My back hurts and I am TIRED. We got all the cold stuff put away. Caritas has offered to put the rest away tomorrow. I think we did pretty good today. Hopefully this will help us to eat at home more.
