being my day

*waves hi* Welcome Flyrod to my journal. :)

I have today off, but feel like I need to be at work almost. Weird feeling. My plans for today are drive Jeshua to a job fair and when he is there head to the bank. Then we are heading to meijer to by food. Home to put said food away and get Phaeton to go out to lunch. Drop Phaeton off at work then Jeshua drops me off at a meeting and he heads to another job interview. That is all I have planned for today, and it ends about 3pm. I am hoping to maybe clean up the dining room and get that ready for when we get the stuff out of layaway.

Didnt get to go to Meijer. Ran out of time. Which isnt a bad thing because we got some of our tax money in the checking account today (state tax) and we plan to get the layaway out. We got home from the errands and Serendipity was acting weird so we scheduled her a vet visit at 2:30. Now she is acting fine, but I still want to get her looked at. There goes some of our money.

I got coupons in the mail today from LadyPeaceM. Yippy! Many that I can use, and others I can give away or trade away depending on my mood. She sent me a quilted northern! now if I can get to a kroger that actually has the razors I can get both things.

I had other thoughts in my head to write about. Heck was going to call a friend and tell her something, but have totally forgotten... oh wait just remembered what it was... Weird. If my head wasnt screwed on I would have lost it today. Maybe when I get back from taking the kitty I will have more to write.

Daily Recap

There is so much running around in my head that I really dont have any idea where to start. Mostly just a hectic day it feels like. Got the layaway out, the cat looked at (probably just teething), a trip to meijers where I did particularly well, another trip to kmart to just spend some of the tax money, eating out twice, went to a store called silverado and got a beanie baby (Tracks) and a wand. Got some stickers at kmart out of one of the machines. Still worried about the cat because I think I saw her chewing on plastic. I just hope it comes out the other end ok. I need to deal with all the coupons LadypeaceM sent me. Need to put together 5 pieces of furniture. Need to clean. Need to do bills. So much that needs to be done.

It works! I was wondering how LJ found icon, so decided to play around alittle bit. I know that if I delete one it just wont show an icon for that post. I just found out of that if I delete one, and then put up a new one and use the same keyword for it as the one you deleted it will put the new picture up on that post. *grins* Learn something new every day.

Meijer Trip

I figured since I mentioned before I did pretty well I would post what I got. I spent about $73.19, and got 71 items. Not my usual under a $1/ item but close enough. I had to buy some cleaners and frozen fish. Plus there were a couple of impulse buys. The savings were: AD: $31.65, Coupons: $28.30, for a grand total of $59.95. I am pleased.
