Goddess Night

Friends use to have a regular one a month meeting of only females to be creative. They called it Goddess Night. From what I heard it was mostly writing or sometimes making collages. I have been thinking about it alot lately because I know things have come up and these friends have not had a Goddess night in awhile. I think they miss it. I have had this idea of making collages out of stickers. I have ALOT of stickers because I love to collect them. I found meaning in them when I decided to decorate my food diary with them.

If I plan this anyone out there interested? I was thinking about having it in Lexington on the night of Feb 23rd. I would want RSVPs, and have people bring whatever stickers they could scrounge up

Other ideas for goddess nights.. Friendship bracelet making. Maybe having a good friend teach us how. :) Jewelry/necklace stringing. And of course writing.

Daily recap

Did pretty good today food wise, unlike yesterday. I was so depressed and pissed yesterday that I just wanted to eat and eat. Today I was alot better. It helps that Manpower found Jeshua a new assignment that starts on monday, pays better, is within walking distance, and has better hours for him. It was really hard on him getting up at 6am. Now if I could get my schedule changed so that scheduling the car could work out. At least he will only have about a mile walk.

So I have figured out I am getting into better shape. Today I went up the stairs at a fairly good pace and didnt get winded. I was trying to get out of the damn building because I got surplus. :) My wakeup call to my health was when I started getting winded going up the stairs at work. I am hoping in a couple of months I will be off the damn High Blood Pressure pills.

When Phaeton (formally D) called at his last break I informed him that Jeshua and I would be driving up to his work, leaveing the car and walking home. I wanted to get another walk in. The only prob with the walk is the lack of sidewalks in one area. Dark and mud do not mix well. It took Jeshua and I about 30 minutes to walk the 1.25 miles. That is about my rate. I think that distance is about my limit for now. I need to start doing calf/leg exercises to strengthen the muscles. I know the Tai Chi is going to help as well. :)

Guess that is it for tonight. I hear the bed calling my name. Still trying to decide about a Artistic Night. I think alot of it depends on if I have the day off or not. We will see.
