Morning

I am up. That is about it. I had a bunch of tossing and turning last night mixed with bouts of sleep filled with fucked up dreams. It was not a good night. I am thinking these kinds of nights are coming with more freqency. I went downstairs to sleep so R & D could get some sleep. I was tossing and turning so much. I started the night with a sheet and 2 blankets, and a nice bottom sheet on the bed. 1st thing that happened is the bottom sheet popped off the corner. Then blankets went to the floor. I woke up cold so reached and grabbed blankets, as the sheet started to strangle me. Knocked off blankets again, and sheet continued to strangle. The pillows twisted and folded. I swear they were trying to help the sheet by smothering me. Now I have a headache and want to head back to bed with D, but who knows what will try to kill me there. Ok, back to bed. D will keep the sheets and blankets in line.

Finally scheduled my GC

I got a Gc in Aug from a secret pal. It was for South Hill Salon, a posh place here in Lexington. I have been debating on what to get, since it is for $45. It was suggested that I use it for a pedicure/manicure, but my nails are beyond hope. I finally decided on a facial. I have it scheduled for Jan 2nd. We will see what happens. :)
I have also signed up for Tai Chi and that starts Jan 10th. I have also found out that the Y has scheduling for massages. I really should try and go once a month. I want to plan this year to relax and pamper myself when I can. I am way too stessed at times. Maybe if I get to relax I can start and take care of myself. Eat better and maybe start to exercise. This stress eating is Hurting me.
Now I am off to see the doctor and mention that I dont think my new HBP med is cutting it. I think they are going to have to up the dose. *sighs* Hopefully the Tai Chi can help with the HBP.

Gas Prices

We have 2 gas stations near our house, a Speedway, and a Thorntons. Today Speedway jumped their prices from 93 to 1.11 sometime midday. I have figured out that if Speedway changes then Thorntons will change a couple of hours later. I was low on gas, and planned to get some anyway, so I did a quick turn around and went to Thorntons and got it for 93 before they went up. That was at 2pm. Just now when I went to Rite Aid to get my prescriptions the Thorntons had raised their prices to 1.09. I am so glad I have the Speedway to let me know when gas prices are going to go up. *grins*

Doctor's appt

I went to the doc today and she made me feel rushed. She doesnt normally do that. There must have been something going on. I mentioned the new pills are not working, so she changed the meds again. She agreed that I probably didnt gain 7lbs in 2 weeks. Even with the holidays. Probably water retention because of the meds not working. I go in tomorrow morning early to get a chest x-ray, and blood drawn from some tests. No biggie. Then I have a follow up on the 18th to make sure the new combo is working. *sighs* The only problem thus far is that the pills she has me on I have to cut in half. They are a bitch to cut. They can crumble if you are not careful, and they are not a nice shape. I will have to mention that to her. She said we will probably have to up the dose anyway. I bought a pill cutter thinking it would work great. NOPE. I just have to hope there isnt alot of medicine in the crumbled off pieces. *grump*
