Food Shopping

demarianaI have no idea where some of the food is going to go. We are totally out of room. Of course if that is true, then why do I keep buying food? I am thinking about taking some of our pasta and such to a food pantry. So todays trip was 90 items for $73.58. Ad savings: 26.48, coupons: 23.56, with a total savings of 50.04. She did give me 54cents extra in coupons because of how things were scanning. I had a coupon by 1 cat treat, get one free. The coupon was only recognizing my cat food at 27cents, not the treats at $1.49. She scanned the coupon twice, then finally had to do it another way to take off the $1.49. That got me 2 coupons of 27 cents. Now I admit, one thing that brings my ratio down is getting 24 cans of cat food. *grins* Of course I am also getting Mrs Pauls fish, which is 4-6 bucks a box. That was my 'splurge' item.
