Our Backyard

We have yet to mow our backyard, and you know, I really dont want to mow it. We have a high fence and noone can see in. I would love to just go out and toss some native wildflower seed balls out into the yard and see what grows. I would love to have a nice small meadow instead of a LAWN. We can keep the front lawn all sterile and trimmed and such. That is what others see. I want to be able to look out back and see bunches of flower and the trees and the wildlife. Maybe make a rock path so we can go out into it. Other than that just let it go wild. *sighs*

Yeah, but then you have to worry about tics and such. Maybe you can have a patch of wild grass and wildflowers out there somewhere?

Ya want some tigerlillies for the back yard. They are very prolific and aren't weedy. We only have like hundred's lining the back fences.

Do you think there's anywhere in our yard they would grow? Do they like water? Would they work as shelf plans in the water garden? `
