Might have been a bit ambitious

jeshua since Phaeton headed out at about 10am to go see ladypeacem. I hope they are having a good weekend. We actually got alot done today, but less than I had wanted to do because, well see the subject line. We got 4 pieces of RTA furniture last week and I wanted to get them all together. We got 3 of them done, which is great. They look good, and the last piece should go together easily since we have done one like it already (A 4 drawer dresser). Our bedroom is actually starting to look like a bedroom. When all finished stocking the room we will have 2 dressers, a nightstand, the bed, a bookcase or 2, a jewelry cabinet, and an armoire. The cherry finish on the new pieces isnt as dark as the cherry on the bookcase or the jewelry cabinet, but they do go. I like the grain of cherry. We should also get a nice throw rug or 3.
In between assembling of furniture we watched The Princess Diary's and a cheap cheesy video we bought at hollywood video ($1.99). A surrender films production if that gives anyone any idea about the movie. We also ordered pizza from pizza magia, and just finished making mac and cheese. YUM!
My mom and stepdad brought over his electric drill with the screwdriver attachments. I am glad they did even though it didnt help. It has too much power for the little screws we were having to put into the furniture. We basically just need to get a small electric screwdriver. I think that would have made things go alot faster. Then there was the oopsie of putting something on upsidedown. We had to take the dresser apart and redo part of it. I dont think that will happen again when we put the other dresser together. I was commenting to Jeshua how the thing was almost idiot proof, then we caught our mistake. Oops.
The other thing we didnt get done was cleaning out the dining room and putting together the exercise bike. That will have to wait till sometime in the week. We also rented 2 other movies that we havent watched yet. Maybe we will go and watch one after I finish this post. Or maybe bed.
