it has been awhile

demariana I have had my ups and downs. Brain on overdrive at times. Feel like just treading water staying afloat. So much I want to do and no energy to do it. I am trying to take better care of myself. This includes using my CPAP and brushing my teeth. I did get my room picked up some today. Also got dishes done and folded/hung up my laundry. I need to try and mold my mouth guard. I do not have the $500 to get one from the dentist so Amazon for $15 it is.
In good news my SO and I are going to a convention for our 28 year anniversary. I will play more pathfinder games with him and have some fun! It is in January. I reserved a hotel room today. It is not at the convention hotel, but down the street.
I will not be demoing Steve Jackson games anymore so that is a part of my life that is ending. I started in 20218. They have changed/moved the program and I am not interested in joining where they moved to. There is a company that is a professional games demo program and they demo for a bunch of game designers. I have watched them at cons and it is not for me. I may change my mind but I do not think so. All MIBs have till the end of year to spend their points. If you do not spend them they will be used to donate to a children's hospital. I had a total of 65 points. I am getting a box tomorrow that used 48 of those points. Once I review that I will submit another request to get the rest my points used. I have made some good friends with the Kentucky group and hope to see them at cons and such.
I am also working on getting things together for goodwill. so much stuff in the house and so hard to get rid of it. I have had a dressing screen since high school. My mom got it for me as a gift. It is still in good condition but I do not use it or need it. I think it was from like fingerhut. Yeah had thoughts of selling it and other things, but just want out of the house. Also have a furreal cat that my mom gave me to sell. Never found a buyer. I might try FB market place. Would be easier than Ebay.
Guess that is about it for now. Might take a nap. :)

Date: 2023-11-12 09:03 pm (UTC)I never had the money for a custom mouthguard when I was a martial artist, and found that boiling a silicone one, popping it in my mouth (when it cooled off enough for me to stand it) and letting it cool a bit on my clenched teeth seemed to work out okay.
