A bit about my life

demariana My work is going along. I am sick of working, but then I think most people are at times. Wish I could win the lottery, but then would probably be bored all the time. Balance would be nice. My 2 year mark is Aug 7th.
I commented the other week on a friend's journal that I am happy, but not. I am discontent and lack passion. Been thinking on that and really not sure what would make me passionate in my life again. Just feel like at times going through the motions.
We have an outdoor kitty that has adopted us. I think he would love to be an indoor kitty though. I know part of the reason he has adopted us is because I and we at times have started to feed him. I need to save up some money and take him for shots and to get him fixed. Before that though I need to ask around the neighborhood just in case. In talking w/ one neighbor awhile back we found out he is probably 'owned'. I want to make sure it is ok to get him fixed. He also had a flea collar on him at one point which came off in our yard. We call him friendly kitty. *grins*
I have been watching more Anime lately w/ adding onto Jeshua's netflix and having my own queue. I have finished all the Bleach they have available. Right now on a long wait for Bleach vol 11. Since that is not available we have had 2 movies sent. The first which I really enjoyed was Origins: Spirits of the Past, and just tonight watched Dragons: Fire and Ice which was ok. The next thing we should be getting is vol 1 of Blood. Depending on how we like it the other volumes might be added and bumped to the top of the queue.iceblink has been going thru each genre of anime and explaining each one and reviewing ones she has seen lately. I think it is because I was asking for recommendations and ideas about the different animes. Her posts have been very helpful.
I have also been reading again. Caritas and I seem to hit the library about once a week lately. I have read 3 books in a series in the past week and another book as well. The series started with a book called WebMage which was different. It would be hard to explain w/o giving away the book. The other book I read was Blood and Iron by Elizabeth Bear. It was very good but at times hard to read. Just touched nerves at times.
I need to reupload some userpics. I got a paid LJ again instead of basic. It was so I could put pictures into posts again.
Caritas and I got our MFM registration done. The guys get in free this year since they both volunteered last year. They are both probably going to volunteer again this year.
Once again I am at my highest weight ever and just have not been in the mood to do anything about it. I hurt in my joints and my ankles are swelling. I have a very who cares attitude about it. I think it goes hand in hand with the happy but not way I have been feeling. I admit I have been thinking hard about surgery. It would not be till next year if ever.
Guess that is about the status of me right now.
