My Addiction

I have an addiction. As far as addictions go it is not too bad. I am addicted to Diet Coke. The lovely carmel fizzy drink very cold just is so very nice. I have been out at the house for about 2 days now. I have gotten one or 2 when out to eat, but nothing for the late night wanna have some soda. It was starting to eat at me. Plus I like me the diet coke in the morning to wake me up. The problem is that the 20oz bottles at work are $1.25 (ouch) I have been getting a 6 pack of 24ounce bottles for $2.49. I stocked up, but ran out before the sale was on again at Rite Aid.

So tonight at 6pm, just after the snow had started and covered some of the roads and ice was on the roads as well I went out to Kroger. I go a 12 pack of diet coke and a 12 pack of diet caffeine free coke. I am set for 6 days.

The roads are icy here and I did not see a salt truck at all. At least people were not being idiots. New Circle was at about 20 mph. Everyone seemed to be going slow and steady.

I had an interesting cart though for checkout at kroger:
2-12 packs of Diet Coke
A recipe magazine
1- 20ounce bottle of diet coke to drink on the way home and at home, since the cans would not be cold yet
8 mini X-mas stockings since they were 75% off (All of 25 cents each)
A bag of kitty litter for the morning
3 mini-bags of chips. (the kind that are 3/$1)
