I have been on a special project for about a week now. I absolutely LOVE IT!!! Basically we sometimes get money that does not have info on it of where it should be applied. It goes into a report and that report is generated daily. I get the report and call people and find out where they want their money put. Right now the list has stuff on it from as far back as JULY! Some of the money I will not be able to find a home for since I do not have access to some programs I could use to see the actual checks. Maybe that will change, but not right now. I have enough to do with trying to apply the money that has been placed on an account, but not on any invoices. It is just a fun for me. I get to research and investigate. Sometimes it is really easy and that is cool. Other times I have to call 4 different places to get to the right person who can research the check and tell me what is suppose to happen with it. I feel like I am making a difference and I am appreciated. It also helps that I am understanding my supervisor alittle bit better. She is not as tightly wound as she was when I first started. I think she is not feeling as pressured as she was to prove herself as she was when she first started. She has started to loosen up and finding her groove.
