I am really sick of bleeding. It seems to get worse instead of better with each birth control pill change. I have been on 5-6 different birth controls in the last 2 years. I am going to get all the evidence and present it at my doctor tomorrow. They have not done a thyroid hormone test to see if it could be contributing to the bleeding. In all this time they have only done one pelvic ultrasound. Each time I have complained they have changed my birth control. I need this to stop. It is draining on me emotionally, physically and mentally. It is affecting my social and my work life. While I was at MDA I had to go home at least 3 times because of excessive bleeding. Last Monday when I had a golf ball sized clot I almost had to come home from my new job. I have an extra pair of pants and underwear in my desk at work. That is just so not right. Last Tues I did have a doctor's appt and she once again changed my birth control. She also set up a referral for another Ob/Gyn visit and did a blood count just in case. I have no idea how the blood count turned out. I guess I am not anemic from all the bleeding. Yet I feel so tired and drained on a daily basis.
Tomorrow I have my Ob/Gyn visit. I am going to bring up all my issues and my problems. I am going to find out what they are going to do about it. I am just too tired to have this go on. I am going to push for more tests and then when those are back push for one of the 2 surgical procedures out there for this. We shall see what happens.
