Today was a lazy day with some stuff thrown in. I woke up slightly early and then headed back to bed. I woke up again and back to bed. *Grins* Finally got up and went out with Caritas to some stores. We went to Dollar tree, got a Sunday paper, filled up the gas tank, lunch, and then across town to check out after X-mas sale at Dillards and go get some last minute gifts. Stopped in at Walgreens to get some wrapping stuff since I was out of boxes and bags. We also just walked alittle in the mall.
Got back home at about 1:30 and relaxed some till Mom and D got here at about 3:45 to exchange gifts. They loved what they got I think. Most was gift cards. I was able to surprise D by hiding the Sports Illustrated Tony Stewart Magazine in the middle of a nascar coloring book. *grins* The other surprise was when I gave my mom an angel figurine. She started to go into the box and I could see on her face that she did not believe I would give her an angel since I am pagan. I just thought it was very pretty and appropriate. I got the Angel from dillards and it was 1/2 off since it was part of the after X-mas sale.
After they left we headed over to do a quick visit with my brother and his family. I think they also like what I got for the nieces and the gift card I got them. We headed out and then went to dinner at Pizza hut. Yummy!
The other thing I have been doing today is trying to work on my D&D character. I think I have a good working start. It is hard for me to look at the books online though. I get a headache. Sometimes I just want to have the actual book. Phaeton should bring some of them home so I can check them out though. If not I can borrow them I think. Since the character is still in her infancy, I am going to wait on mentioning what she is.
