Can't sleep

demarianaShould crawl back into bed where it is warm instead of shivering here out at the computer. Did something really stupid, or really brave depending on the outcome. I shall see.
Well since I am up I might as well write about what I did today. Got up slowly and then headed to Walmart about 9:30 with Caritas. I so hate the Walmart near me with a passion. The only reason I went is because I wanted to finally spend the $50 gift certificate I got on my last day at CKY. I picked up a robe for Jeshua, 2 shirts for Phaeton, a pair of tights for Caritas, and a gun magazine and the bic candle lighter that has 3 different positions for me. We were in the 'express lane'. The woman who was being waited on when we got in line had grabbed a roll of packing tape that did not have a barcode on it. It took 3 times calling for the dept to call, and then twice calling for a manager to finally get someone over to the register to do a price check. This was about 15-20 minutes. Then it took the manager 10 minutes to find and bring back a roll that had the price. I am sorry if it is taking you this long you need to just give it to the customer for a penny or something and put it down for customer good will. We were in line for 30 minutes because of this mess. Of course there was not enough registers open. At least the guy who could not read that it was 10 items or less was behind us.
After walmart we drove thru Wendy's and got some lunch. Home then for relaxing. Later Caritas and I went to dollar tree and walgreens and even though I wanted to spend money there was nothing that I found. I would love to get some things for my mom and nieces and such, but no idea what to get. So not in the holiday spirit. Heck, I barely know of anything I want. I can point out things that are nice and such, but do not really want anything.
Phaeton and I went out to BW3's for dinner. The waitress sucked. She decided it was more important to sit down beside her friends and hang out at the table next to us than it was to actually wait on us. You order your food at the counter, and then the kitchen staff brings it, but a waitress is usually around to refill drinks and to get anything else you might want. We wanted dessert. Since I did not want to have to wait around for change she got a $1.54 tip. We had paid for the dinner part (about $30) but had to pay for the 2 desserts which was $8.46. I gave her a $10 and said keep the change. If she had been attentive and competent she would have gotten about 10% of the total order. Her loss.
After that we ran to Hollywood video and rented Fantastic 4. I had already seen it with Jeshua at Carmike, but was up for seeing it again. It is a pretty good film. Just have to realize it is an origin and set up movie.
Tomorrow we are all driving to Louisville for a poly meeting. We shall see how it goes.
