My afternoon

demarianaMy afternoon consisted of cleaning the living room some so it was not a total mess tomorrow. Then having plans change for the better. Instead of Kilroy coming over to watch a movie we are going to get to go shooting. *grins* I then took a nap. Still feeling weepy, but it is getting better. I have realized some of it is a loss of confidence in myself. Why me. Which has bled over to my over analyzing conversations with friends and family. Got to love when the light dawns. *grins*
After the nap we all went out to Portabella's for dinner. YUMMY. I had a salad, a cup of soup and a 1/2 of a seafood calzone. Lunch for tomorrow is the other 1/2. (Score!) There was some issues with some of the other patrons that we got to overhear. Life is too short to be that bitter I wanted to tell one woman. She told the management that, "She sees how it is, a bigger party calls and you bump us from the room". He then explained they had the reservation before they started having their group meet at the restaurant. *shakes head* But that was just a small part of the dinner. The food is so good at Portabella's. I get the same thing almost every time.
Now I am baking some brownies and some muffins. I like to bake. Mostly I do box baking, but hope to make oatmeal cookies from scratch for Monday Dec 5th. We shall see. I also need to run over to Dollar Tree to get something for someone's birthday to finish out the present. I will also get some decorations for Phaeton's birthday. He doesn't read my journal so he will never know about the decorations till it is too late. *Grins*
