Happy Anniversary to ME

Today is my poly anniversary. 6 years ago today D moved down from CT to be with me, and 1 year ago today R moved up from TX. So if we were giving gifts I would be getting an iron clock. (modern anniversary definitions) or paper candy. :) I love my 2 guys. I am glad they are in my life. I dont know if I tell them that enough. There has been alot of adjustment the past year. We had other life altering things happen like getting a house. That helped and confused the adjustments.

It is a joy to wake up between these men. To be able to feel warm and safe with them beside me. I thank the divine who brought them into my life. I hope they know they mean the world to me.

And once D gets off work we are heading to waffle house to celebrate!

Congrats on the anniversaries. :) Is Waffle House a "special" restaurant, or are you going there because it's open? Wolf taking me to Waffle House is actually romantic for us because that's where we ate lunch quite often when we first started dating (there was a Waffle House near the Sears call center, which is where he was working when we met). We would meet there for lunch and play Meatloaf songs on the jukebox. :)

It basically got to be a special resturant since it was open when D and I use to get off work. We both use to work the 2-10:30 shift, and would stop at this one specific waffle house after work maybe 2 times a week. We got to know the waitress quite well. Now that we are in the house we have to drive by 3 other waffle houses to get to our waffle house with our waitress. We have gone to the closer ones, but they just arent the same.

That's cool that it's still pretty much the same. We went to "our" Waffle House a couple of weeks ago and all the wait staff is different, they only have one Meatloaf song now (though that seems to be a Waffle House trend, they used to have 3), and one of the waitresses tried to get us mad at our waitress (and failed) so we almost ended up as bit players in a Waffle House drama. ;) Too bad some things *do* change. But, even with the changes, Waffle House is a special place to me.
