demarianaCaritas got to the Greyhound bus station safely by walking on Friday. She called and to let us know she made it safely, and of course I called her a couple of times over the weekend since we now have unlimited long distance. Friday night Phaeton sprung for some dinner from DQ that was not the greatest. The people were idiots. We came home and I did some DDR and Phaeton worked on putting together his new computer. Jeshua was at class and I went and got him when he called. That was basically Friday night.
Saturday we got up bright and early and headed up to Cincinnati and Kenwood mall. We went to the Discovery store and I weighed in. I am doing the discovery health challenge for the next 8 weeks. My goal is to lose 10 lbs in this time frame. I think I can do it. We then headed to the IHOP for a hour wait to be seated. It was ok since we were not that hungry yet. I was slightly bored since I did not have a book, but I did look at some of the stuff I got free for the health challenge. I also looked at the balance 1/2 ball I got with bands at the Discovery Store. It was 30% off plus another 15% for the coupon I had. I think it will be very interesting.
After food at IHOP we headed home to relax and watch some taped shows as well as I did some more DDR. Fun fun. It was a very nice Anniversary.
Sunday I got up and drove Jeshua to work and then came home to place some stuff in the car before heading out to Louisville. There was some snow, and I got to see some accidents from people being stupid. In one I crested a small hill to suddenly see a pickup pointing at me. He was towing a UHaul and jackknifed in the left hand lane. Luckily there was time enough to slow down and get over. I got to see another car flipped over and an ambulance at the scene.
I got to Louisville with time to spare though. Even with stopping in Waddy to get gas. They still have the lowest prices around. We went to wait on Dubheach and got to see her and Em for a bit. It has been WAY too long.
Family dinner was an experience as always. The food was pretty good. We did not stay to play games since we knew it could be snowing and wanted to make sure we still had alittle bit of light. Got home to play DDR again. I think I will take a break tomorrow night from DDR. We shall see though.
I am a tired kitty and almost thinking about bed.
