Kay took me out to lunch today for my birthday which was very nice of her. We were going to go to Penn Station but the line was LONG. We ended up going to Arby's to get some drive thru. The food was good, but the service sucked. The woman working the drive thru was just a bitch. Oh well.

Last night I went over to my mom's and we went out to Michael's. We picked up a bunch of yarn so she can make me an afghan for my birthday. I got burgundy and deep purple as my 2 colors. They look really good together. I saw some latch hooks that would be fun to do. I also thought about trying to crochet again. I wish I was creative. She gave me a card that I opened last night even though she told me I had to wait. *grins* I wonder when she will read this since she reads my journal on occasion. I also need to let her know that she got me the same card I think last year or the year before. Very cute card though.

Tonight we are going out to Tony Roma's for dinner. I wish it would clear up so I could maybe go to the Ghost Walk and Creepy Crawl downtown or to the park where you can go watch the eclipse. Looks like the clouds are here to stay though. *pouts*

Time to get back to work. Lunch is almost over.
