Kroger Trip

Jeshua got out of class early last night so Caritas and I made a quick (ie 1 hour) run to Kroger to get some things. I wanted to get out of the house for alittle bit. We also had the $10 'coupon' from when we spent $50 last week on specific items.

By the Numbers:

Spent: $49.27
Total Savings: $71.64 (59%)
58 Items

Not too bad. I even had a list. It kept me from buying stuff that we did not need. Found out they are doing a BTFE promotion where you buy stuff that have box tops and then get a print out of extra box tops after Aug 31st. We bought 22 things last night that have box tops for Education.

Ok, time to get ready for work.

I had thought about becoming a professional food shopper for people. It is fun to find the bargains.

lol i also think a 1 hour trip to krogers is a short trip :) i go in for a couple of things and come out 3 hours later--it's a warp i tell ya!
do you guys use the boxtops? if you don't already have a school that you use them for i know Ashland Elem. where my kids go would love to have them.

We do not use the box tops. What we usually do is trade them online for coupons. I can split them or see what the extra we get from Kroger and give you that print out.

if you guys are using them, no worries hun. i was mainly just asking so they didn't go to waste. if you are trading them online, the someone's school is prob. benefiting :)

heh hun, i was talking to a friend on msn tonite and she told me to check out althea. lol i thought it was interesting that you guys were also on her list---now i feel like i been missing something rofl *huge hugs*
