Evening

Today has been a long day. We had a yard sale that went pretty well. We had one family steal from us, but everyone else was very nice and many people bought stuff. The one thing we know they stole was a reindeer that played grandma got run over by a reindeer when you pressed the ear. The world just has all kinds. We were able to haggle some. That can be fun. The signs looked great. We made about $90 for our MFM con fund. *grins* We also put some things aside like plushies and a cheetah puzzle for the MFM auction. Hopefully we can just bring them with us to drop off there on Sat morning.

After the yard sale Caritas treated for a very good lunch at Long John Silvers. I got home and freaked out alittle bit about trying to find something to wear to the wedding Jeshua and I were going to. Caritas helped me pick out something nice and then Phaeton drove me over. We picked up Jeshua and then Phaeton dropped us both off over at the hotel where the wedding was being held. The wedding was about 15 minutes long. We then went to the ballroom next door and had the reception. Very good food. The wedding cake was made out of cup cakes. It was so cute. The bride and groom were also very sweet and cute. They had some technical difficulties with the stereo system and got that worked out. It was an open bar so I had a couple of drinks. Nothing major. We left about 8:40 and headed over to where Caritas and Phaeton had parked the car. They went to a munch that was right up the street from the hotel. We found the car at the midway point between the 2 places. They had left a note that the munch got out way early and they were over in a store. We picked them up and headed home. Caritas and Phaeton went back out and Jeshua and I are heading to bed soon I think.

Today was a very good day I think.

I always hated when people would steal from my yard sale. Heck, if they needed it that bad, I would just give it to them. It's sad to know that parents teach their kids that stealing is okay!

I saw one with a pez despenser and did not think to catch them on it. I think they do it at every yard sale. I need to stop dwelling on it. The good thing is the money we made and we did get to meet some of our neighbors.
