Trip To Meijer

demarianaWe seem to get the same checker when we go to Meijer on a Saturday. It is really nice since she is a coupon shopper as well and totally understands the coupons.
By the numbers:
Paid: $80.85 for 110 items, but 40 of those were cans of cat food that on sale with coupon are 15 cents a piece.
Saved: $64.84 ($22.95 coupons + $41.89 ad) This was not the greatest but we were getting meat and soda and produce that you just can not get coupons for.
We got coupons in today's mail so sometime soon I will need to go over to Kroger and start getting the free Dog food for the humane society. I might do some tomorrow and also bake some brownies for the function that is happening on Memorial Day. It is 4 miles for paws. I also need to get over to the 2 places I am collecting money in doggie banks to see if they have any in them. I need to give one a call to see when they are open.
Other than that things are going pretty good. I might go onto my coupons and see if I can find any other coupons we could use. No coupons tomorrow due to the holiday. It will give me a chance to catch up on organizing my coupons and weeding out the ones that are expired.
