Interesting Sight

Caritas and I were out on the deck and I noticed a bird go under our outer basement door. It had some grass and such in it's mouth. I watched as it flew up into the eaves and then came back down and back out under the door. It is a nuthatch I think and it is building a nest in our basement door alcove. It is cute. I hope it has babies. I might put some food down on the basement steps for it. I love nature sometimes.
