Daily Dose

Need to pay bills and have the money to do it. We have been trying to eat at home more again and so far it is going well. *fingers crossed* Work is going well. I enjoy my job. I just need to get my butt in gear and do some overtime. Someday maybe. I figure if I do about 6 hours a paycheck that will help out with the loans I have on my 401k. I need to lower my contribution to my 401k though since I took these loans.

I am trying something else to try and become healthier. I am going to add one new good for me thing a week. If I have a week that does not go well with the new thing I will try it for another week and not add something new. I have added 2 things so far and I am actually keeping up with it. I need to start recording it I think.

Time for bed.

Last week was to take a serving of veggies to work for lunch each day. I have carrots that are individually bagged which is nice and easy. I need to look into more variety I think though. This week it is to brush my teeth each night before bed. Next week is going to be walking 2-3 times a week. I will start thinking about the week after that once I start the walking. I do not want to get ahead of myself and try to do too much.

I need to look into more variety I think though
if you wouldn't mind spending about 20-30 minutes on say sunday night, you could cut up a variety of veggies and put then in individual containers. just grab em and go through out the week. (don't know if you got lots of little containers but the dollar store has a nice set of containers including small ones for like $5)

treating yourself to things that are better for you on a reg basis by slowly incorporating them into your lifestyle sounds like an awesome idea. after you add it are you going to try to continue it beyond the week?

oh, i get back on april 3rd---we can all make arrangements for after that time, if you and caritas would like to. :)

I am only moving on to something new if I think I can keep what I added the week before going. Right now I have 2 things and Sunday I plan to add the walking. I like the idea of cutting up some veggies and placing them in something. I think ziploc baggies would work for me. I might add that another week. Right now I do have the carrots.

I would love to meet you and hang out one day. We could get together maybe on a Sunday afternoon.
