The Olymnics make D late for work.

D works 1 mile from home. Normally driving him takes all of 2 minutes, depending on traffic. Today was alittle different. I knew the olympic torch was coming thru town. I even checked the route and timetable. I think they are running alittle bit late. We were waiting at our street to turn onto N Bdwy, and I turned to D to tell him you are going to be late. He was like why? I then pointed out the police and vans right in front of us. They took the normal route we take to drive him to work. The cars were going at a CRAWL. Which was to be expected. I just thought they would be by our place before I had to take him to work. This is the 1st time in 2.5 years that he has been Late to work. (an actual tardy) It took the Olympic Torch to do it. :)

So to commemorate the occasion I bought a SaltLake 2002 Olympic Pennant.

There aren't many people that can say they are late to work due to an Olympic Torch.
