I am so uncreative at times

I wish I knew how to make some icons. I have great ideas, but cant seem to figure out how to make the damn things. I feel so computer illiterate at times. I only want some simple things, like a pale background of a cat, and the saying Purrfectly Pleasant Unless Provoked as text. Then there is Purrs when pleased.

Those are my 2 catch phrases for my life. I made up the first one *grins* but the 2nd I think I heard someplace. I use to go by Purrfect on IRC, but then the guy I was dating at the time moved to TX, moved in with someone then dumped me. I didnt feel Purrfect anymore. That is when I started using Denney. The other cool thing about Denney is most HNGs would assume I was a guy, and not random message me. Once I decided I wanted a more female name again I remembered that when I was in HS, my brother was running a BBS, and he wanted me to be on, so told me to think up a nickname now! That is when Denmariana was born. With IRC, that was too many letters, so I took out the N and got Demariana. Which now is so ME!

In response to this post, when you say, "icons", do you mean the user pics? I have a friend that can make them using a photo editing program. She is here on LJ as well, I could put you in touch with her perhaps.

Yup, that is what I mean. I would love to learn how to make some clipart, and animated ones. If you wouldnt mind, I would be interested in talking to your friend. I have wondered how many people from polyfamilies have a LJ. I have Noel listed as a friend.

I'll send her a note and ask her if she knows anything about making animated ones. She has done the majority of my user pics, tho none of mine are automated.

I know there are several of us on the poly list on LJ...I don't know which came first...I found LJ first, and polyfamilies thru a posting on the Poly community journal, of which I am a member. Whenever I see someone onthe poly list say they are on LJ, I always check 'em out. (I'm nosy that way. ~g~)

I was thinking about adding you as a friend. Would you mind? One reason I put LJ addict under my name in my posts is so people on polyfamilies would go and check it out. I was on polyfamilies first and then found LJ from another local poly friend.
