Morning Fun
Jan. 17th, 2008 08:15 pmTuesday and today I went to the Y for a class from 6:30-7:15am. It is a class to get a full body weight workout in. I love that the instructor tells me what to do and I just do it. I am awake and functional but not extremely up if that makes sense. I also do not get overwhelmed like I do when I try to organize my own routine with weights. There are so many exercises that I was afraid at times to pick the 'wrong' one. That is not really something to be worried about, but I do anyways. It has been a very small class each time which is really nice. Each time there has been something new to do for variety.
I am debating with myself about getting up and going in the morning for a 30 minute cardio workout. I would have the time if I got there at 6:30 to get a shower after and get home to pick up Jeshua for work. We have to be at work tomorrow for a class from 5:30-8:30 at night so I will not be able to go after work. I need to decide soon so I can pack my clothes and lunch for tomorrow. That has helped a lot with being able to go to work out this week. I also went Monday after work to do a cardio workout.
At work there is another health challenge starting on Feb 1st till March 25th. It is an 8 week team challenge. I am already on a team. Each person has to do 800 minutes of exercise over the 8 weeks. That is 100 minutes a week or about 15 minutes a day. I think it is doable. I hope I can get one of my teammates to walk during lunch with me. We earn health points and a chance to get free stuff. I already have enough points to get my $200 health credit from the company.
Guess that is about it for my health report. *grins*
