Movie Night

Sometimes I get something in my head to do and I just have to do it. When we went to the Kentucky Theater on Sat to see Night Watch we noticed that MirroMask was going to be the midnight movie this weekend. I decided then that I really wanted to go and see it. I have only been once to a midnight movie at the Kentucky. I really wanted to do it again. When Jeshua got home from school I asked him about going and that we could take a nap beforehand. At 11 when the alarm went off I realized he just is not recovered enough from his bronchitis to go. He said he could try, but was not going to force that. I asked if he minded if I went by myself and he said no. I got up and got dressed and headed out. I was slightly worried about being by myself at night downtown. It was not bad though. People were parking where I parked when I got there and I wandered to the theater with a small group. I also left the theater with a group as well just so I was not walking back to the car by myself. The only annoying thing about the night was the group behind me that was talking at times. At least they were quiet for most of the movie. The movie reel did slip one time and someone ran out to have them fix it.

The movie was really good. It is a story that has been basically done before in other movies. This was a beautiful rendition. The visuals were great. It is a Jim Henson production. I just really enjoyed the film and the experience of going by myself. I will need to rent it to have others in the house see it.

Now I have seen 2 movies for my goal of 50 in the theater. Maybe tomorrow Phaeton and I can add another one.
