Daily Dose
Dec. 11th, 2005 10:31 pmToday has been much better day than yesterday. I was not as psycho which is a very good thing. We all went to golden corral for brunch and had our favorite waitress. She is so cool. Very attentive and quick. It is also nice that she knows us and greets us every time we come in. I know we pissed off another server when she wanted to take our tray to her area, and we were like, no- we are going to sit over in there. AFter breakfast we went to the News Stand on New Circle Rd and got 2 papers and a magazine each. I got 2 gun magazines.
-edit- I originally put cracker barrel where we went for brunch. That is untrue. We went to Golden Corral.
The afternoon was spent talking online to family and friends and napping. I like my naps. *grins* At 2:30 I got up and started to get ready to head out to go to Jeshua's work holiday party. I actually wore a dress. Very nice one I might add. I think we both looked GOOD. We were alittle bit more dressy than everyone else, but that is ok. They had some really good finger food and was interesting talking to people from his work. The only part that was horrible was that a boy was up decorating cookies and then did the Mommy, I do not feel so well, *HURL* right in front of me. I was able to turn away quickly and not react. Usually I copy the maneuver when I hear, see or smell it. That would have so not been fun, and not a good first impression.
We left there about 5:45 and headed home so I could get changed. We then went out to cracker barrel for a small dinner with a new friend. Lots of good conversation and good food was had. We shall have to do it again.
Now I have been home since about 8:30 and online talking to friends and family while playing some games. Waiting till Phaeton gets home from gaming before heading to bed. Need to think up a character idea for Ka's game. So not sure about that. I have also been doing some web searches for jobs. Nothing really on career builder. *sighs*
Guess that is about it for today. Nice lazy relaxing day actually.
