Weekend Recap
Jan. 9th, 2005 10:05 pmSat night Phaeton and I headed out to get some food for a date night. I really wanted to play trivia and we did think about trying a new place. Instead we drove around for about 1 hour looking at places and seeing just how crowded they were (TGI Fridays, Tony Roma's, Regatta's, and BW 3's) 2 do not have trivia but Phaeton was going to treat for expensive if we found a place and that was fine as well. We could talk or something. We ended up at Trumps where we usually end up. I was happy cause I was going to get to play some trivia. To find out that a playoff game was on and it was QB1 being played on NTN. It actually was fun and made the time go fast. The had to remake my salad because of tomatoes. Not good. At least I had the appetizer to eat while waiting. We left at half time to come home and then Phaeton skunked me twice at cribbage.
Today was a really good day. Jeshua made pancakes for breakfast and then we just relaxed some of the day away. I did some DDR and some Groove. I was able to make it through 17 songs on endless mode before they decided to put some really really fast song on that I had no way of finishing. I should mention that I decided to do this on Light instead of beginner this time. MUCH FUN!!!!! I feel like I got a really good workout. The Groove was fun. Caritas and I did some battles and such. We so need to get a memory card for the game. Anyone who has playstation 2... Can you use one memory card for more than 1 game? Thanks for the help.
Oh, we went to the newsstand and got the papers as well as some magazines. I also splurged on some lottery tickets. I won about $20. I break about even when everything is said and done with lottery tickets. I probably should keep track or something. We used the winnings to get some lunch at Arby's as we headed out to the movies. We ended up seeing National Treasure. Very good film. We also got to see about 7 previews which was nice. We missed all the commercials.
Tonight started the 2 hour premier of the new season of 24. We taped Desperate Housewives and watched 24. Tomorrow we have to tape 24 and Medium since Jeshua has to work. There are some interesting shows starting I think. The other cool thing is that Direct TV now has WB (Channel 14) Now if they would just get UPN.
I really like my bouncy hair cut. I should take a picture or something.
