Hippy Holiday
Dec. 25th, 2002 05:35 amI am up and getting ready to head for work. I am so hoping to get some surplus. I finished wrapping stuff last night, and we all opened one gift. Phaeton had gotten up some scratch off lottery tickets. He is being so excited wanting us to see what gifts he got us.
I am so glad and sad that there isnt snow on the ground when I looked out the window. I am glad because it means I dont have to worry about it when I head out. I know there will be ice though. There is snow coming. I just looked at the radar off www.weather.com. It is just on the west side of the city. Maybe it will start to fall as I head to work.
Last night was a special night so all 4 of us slept in the same room. This time we even got all in the same bed. Well, for most of the night. I had to get up to use the bathroom about 3am, and since my back was hurting I moved to the futon mattress that we had on the floor. I did get alittle sleep. Caritas and I didnt do as much talking as we usually do when we decide to sleep together. *grins* The past couple of times we have slept together we have talked till about 3am.
I almost opened my stocking before heading to work. I remember opening it with my brother at 6am X-mas morning. We would compare and giggle as we tried so hard to not wake up our parents. It wouldnt work though. We just had to sneak down to the see the tree as soon as we could. Then we had to wake them up.
Today could be an interesting day. My dad is in town and staying at my Brother's. RAnDoM is heading over there at 4pm to do a gift exchange and hang out. We will see what happens. My mom and D are also coming. I dont know if I like this idea. My dad knows about polyamory and that I am into it, but he has never met Jeshua or Caritas. This could get interesting. He is so blunt at times. Ex-military.
Ok, now I must head to work. I am going to stop at at gas station and get some breakfast. I hope they feed us at work like they usually do on this holiday.
