Midday Musing

Got alittle surplus and waited for Phaeton to get over to the mall to pick me up. I went into the mall and said hello to Jeshua when Phaeton went into Home Depot. I found some things at the dollar store which rounds out the stockings I hope. I still need to get some things for some people. We also ran over to a fabric store to get some foam padding. I am feeling alitte better, but my head still hurts. I need to figure out what I want for lunch.

Just called someone new on one of my email lists. We will see if I will make a new friend. I am still waiting to hear from the other group. I hope it is just a case of getting too busy with yule.

There is a yule party on sunday that I am giving serious thought to going to. I just emailed them for directions. It is from 7-10 and I done with work by then. It kinda depends on where in town it is. I might see if Caritas or Jeshua wants to go. Phaeton has to work both saturday and sunday this weekend. *pouts*

Now it is time for lunch.

Coupons

I am so far behind on my coupons once again. I havent been on a big shopping trip in about 2-3 weeks. I should check my posts to see when was the last time I posted about groceries. I have a couple of weeks worth to cut out. I need to go thru my coupons and pull out the expired and the soon to be expired ones. I need to find the coupons I have to file to see what I have. It isnt like we need food. We can go another week with restocking on most things. All I need to get tomorrow is soda, milk, bread, some frozen chicken and maybe some chips. Nothing that I have coupons for. I know I have been missing out on some good sales, but I just have to remind myself that we dont need the food. We still have a very full freezer and pantry. I will start back with the coupons and the shopping after the first of the year probably. And then I can also set up a trading group again.

Cribbage

I am glad I am getting back into Furry Muck. I have missed the cribbage league and the people who play regularly. I am getting back into playing. I am even in the December tourney. I have won my first round and I know who I am going to be playing in the next round. It will be tough, since he is a good player. If I win the next round I am going to dread the 3rd round. The person I could be playing there is a great player. The cards always seem to go her way. Kinda annoying.

I just got finished playing 4 games, won 2 and lost 2. Not bad. All were fairly close which was nice.
