Bed is calling my name

It basically has been calling me for the last 2 hours. So what am I doing up? Well I was looking at the want ads and one company had apply in person at such and such address. No name or number. I decided at midnight that I really wanted to find this company. Jeshua and I headed out to find it. We were victorious and it is the local Cab company. On the way back we decided we were hungry and stopped at Denny's for a snack. I got Water and Moons over my Hammy, and Jeshua got a Choc Milk and the French Slam. As we were finishing up these 2 guys came in and started to freak the waitress out. One ordered a water, the other got chocolate milk. Then one ordered Moons over my Hammy, and the other... also got Moons over my Hammy. I heard part of the order so when she brought the check I asked about it. She said that if the other guy had gotten a french slam with extra eggs instead of the meat she would have headed home. IT would have been too bizarre.

So that is my tale for the night. Time for bed the letters are floating off the screen as I try to read. Night night and dont let the bed goblins bite.

It's morning

I am surprisingly awake for how late I got to bed last night. I have been cleaning my room because it is a MESS. Once I can see my desk I will work on the bills. I might run down to the basement and get the box that has the halloween decorations in it to put some things up. I am always afraid of putting stuff on the lawn. I dont want it to get stolen or vandalized. I hope a good amount of kids show up today.

I have also redid my altar for the season. It has been a catch all for the past couple of months. I needed this. It is looking good. I wish I had more air element symbols. Feathers get eaten by the cats.

Plans for the day

-go to resume place

-hand out candy
-Sleep

Ok, must get started and stop putting off the cleaning. *GAG*

Trick or Treat

The first 'child' didnt have a costume and had to be about 14-15. He almost sounded apologetic saying trick or treat though. I of course gave him a bag. After that we had a sporadic trickle of kids. There were alot of firemen it seemed. We ended up giving out 30 bags with about half going to kids I think. I am talking under the age of 13. It was all cool though. I had fun.

After the kids Caritas made some yummy stir fry. We then played Grave Robber Cannibal Pygmies from Outer Space. We finally combined the 2 games. It works quite well I think. Some new rules, and it is HARD to stay alive with all the extra special effects.

Bed soon. Today was a pretty good day. Bed soon though. 2 in the house are staying up till midnight though. They want to get down on paper something to the effect of "It was a dark and stormy night..." *GRINS*

Meijer Trip

We did really good today. 74 items for $89.54, and a savings of $74.02. We had to get alot of expensive stuff like cat litter, 5 boxes, laundry detergent, Oil Olay Daily facials, and sushi. :) All of those were $2.99 or more. It was a long trip though. Took awhile even though we had a good list and didnt really need to go thru every aisle. Freezer is full again. Thursdays are not the day to go to Meijer though.

Ok that is about it. Ate too much tonight. feeling sick.

One more post and then I think bed. I was thinking about the trip for the free consult for the resume service. He makes some really nice resumes from the samples he showed us. Came across alittle like a sleaze ball though. Also it was kind of expensive. Not what I was wanting. I want help, not someone to keep my resume on file to have me pay to get it every time I need one. I think I will find a book or call the other 2 places that are around. I really like the way this guy went saw does some of the layout. I just dont need what he is offering. I need help with organizing and deciding what to do. I want to be able to write the thing myself. I want pointers mostly I think. It just didnt feel right from the moment we walked in.

I just know my resume is going to be 'light' One real job for 7 years, 2 years of blank time, college, some skills but nothing major. Just not alot there. I asked my supervisor if I could use him as a reference. I also asked a co-worker. Slowly getting ready. Slowly moving toward a change.
