Morning

Puppy pile last night. We moved the futon mattress into the bedroom so that all 4 of us could sleep in the same room. Sometimes you need the support of family and the comfort of all being there. And the warmth helped. The kitties got confused I think. Now I am up and getting ready for work. I wish I could go back upstairs and sleep some more. We all went to waffle house last night at 11:30 for laughs and comfort food. I think it did us some good. R who use to be our waitress doesnt work there anymore, but we have a new usual waitress. She said if she is working she will wait on us. I do miss R though. R is the one I talked about before who has cancer.

Now it is time for me to start to get ready for work. Nice quiet morning.

Happy Hippy

The lawn guys are here today. The rain set them back. They probably should have come on tues. That is ok though. I understand about the weather. They do a really good job.

I hope the mail comes soon. I should also eat something for lunch.

Lawn guy finished and it looks good. He figures it will be the last mow of the season. I did let him know we want him back next year. Mail came and it looks bad. Our budget on the electric went up $40 bucks. ICK! My new credit card didnt show up. *pouts*

Well that is about it. Time for lunch.

Grocery Trip

Went shopping at Meijer's today after dropping off Caritas at work. The numbers are:

64 items, spent $57.88 and saved $79.56. That is a savings of about 58%.

I was able to get the freezer stuff I bought to fit in our freezer since we didnt get alot. We had to buy some expensive stuff like toilet paper and trash bags. Most stuff was on sale though and I got very little with out a coupon at least.

My semi splurge item was something I can only get at this time of year... Boo Berry Cereal. I got 3 boxes. *does a happy dance* No sushi today though.

Still a very good shopping trip. Very happy.

As the sun sets

I got off work and came home to help Caritas make dinner. We had a great chicken stir fry this time. I also cooked potatoes. It rocked. The stir fry was alittle bit spicy for me, but I think it is partly because my lips are chapped. I am now very full and only 325 calories. YUM!

Got moved to wireless for part of the day which was nice. One customer was trying to figure out where I was based on my accent. He was like you must be from VA, or TN since you dont have an accent. I then confessed I am Kentucky. We chit chayted for alittle bit about nothing and then I sent him his number. I like when I talk to pleasant people. It is getting to be less and less it seems. That nice conversation carried me for the rest of my shift and I got a couple of other compliments about how pleasant I sounded. Today was a good day at work.

Other than that not much going on. Might watch TV and play some games tonight. Tomorrow is a lazy day with a family breakfast planned. Now I am just alittle tired and probably head to bed early.
