The rain is tapering off and my mood is lifting. Got to go home for the first half of my shift. That is nice because it means I can get some stuff done. Plans today
Finish breakfast (eggs and cheese)
Separate coupons to plan meijer trip
Take Jeshua to work
Shop at Meijer
Home to take Phaeton to work and pick up Caritas
Bank I think
Then I get to go back to work at 3:30-7:30.
Work out at the Y
Get Phaeton from work.
SLEEP *grins*
I got one of my coupon trades in the mail yesterday. It was the one I need for my shopping trip today. That is good. I should get the other 2 today. More coupons to deal with. What joy. My cycle is getting to burnout stage almost with with. Too many to cut and sort. I need to let a week or so go by before I trade or scrounge any more.
Side note to self: One bad day does not make a blown diet. I can get back on track. I do like healthy foods. I wont blow 25lbs lost with one or 2 bad days. I am trying to make a life style change. I am not trying to quickly lose a bunch of weight. I am trying to become healthier and each day I have choices to make.

Advertising Backfire
Oct. 11th, 2002 09:15 amFor me the Snuggle ad makes me not want to buy their product at all. I am talking about the one with the Porcupine. He is trying so hard and looks so sad when the lady says he isnt snuggles and she wont pet him. The snuggle gives a sarcastic/snide laugh to put the porcupine down even further. It makes me want to go out and buy bargain brand fabric softeners. They are so mean to the porcupine. He just wants to be snuggled and loved.
Does anyone else get that impression or is it just me?

Shopping Trip
Oct. 11th, 2002 01:35 pmHeaded to Meijers today like I planned. I spent alittle bit more than planned but all for a good cause. Getting good food!
By the numbers: I got 88 items. Most of it was on sale.
Spent $79.89, saved- Coupons:$32.10, Ad: $61.24= Total savings of $93.34
Our chest freezer if officially stuffed to the top. This isnt good since meijer is continuing it's frozen food sale for the next month. We will just have to eat more of it. Not really a problem. It didnt help that today I got 10 boxes of SuperPretzels. :) I really like them. The only splurge item was probably the Sushi platter. YUM!
Tomorrow Meijer is having a super SaturDaze Sale. Caritas is willing to go since I have to work. The only thing we really need is the Milk that is b1g1f.
I went to a website to see what coupons are coming out sunday. There are a couple cool ones, like banquet chicken coupons again. I guess I will have to place an order with CR for coupons. She let me run a credit since I sent her alot of box tops for education.
Guess that is about it. Maybe I will have some pretzels when I get back from taking Phaeton to work.
