Saturday Recap

Yesterday was a busy day. Very nice though. Jeshua and I got up and headed to Meijer to get some shopping done. Spent $90, but saved $88 and got 122 items. I had an annoying cashier. I need to find a regular cashier to go to so s/he would know me and my coupons. That I dont cheat. This one tried to say I could only use one of each kind of coupon. Hello, I bought 7 packages I can use 7 coupons. *shakes head*

Now I did get some pumpkin delites from Little Debbie and have introduced them to Caritas. Minikin introduced them to me a couple of years ago. I usually dont like pumpkin but I like these little debbie treats. And as minikin says, it isnt halloween season till you see the pumpkin delites at the store. :)

We came home and unloaded. Then Caritas and I decided to go and work out. Felt really good. We get home to see that Phaeton and Jeshua are playing Bab 5 wars. So we get changed and decide to head out and about. We first went to Cato's thinking we were in the mood to buy clothing, but nothing caught our eyes. I know what I want but I am not going to find it at any of the stores in this town at this time of year. I need some more work out clothing. We got Arby's and came home for alittle bit to feed the guys as they continued to play. We then headed out to go over to Fayette mall. Damn it was crowded. We wandered the whole mall and ended up buying some things at my crack house, walden books. I got the 2nd book of a series that I had 1,3,4 & 5 in. Now I can read the whole series!

We got home about 8pm to the guy's still playing. About 10 they concluded it was a draw and we settled in to watch some TV and play some games. I like family night. :) Bed was about midnite and slept till 8am sunday.

Today has been a productive day. I was the first one up. Yes I am becoming a morning person. I cooked Cinnamon rolls and cinnamon biscuits for everyone, as they slowly woke up. We read the paper and lounged around. Finally Caritas and I got our butts in gear and cleaned the downstairs concentrating mainly on sweeping and swiffering. It is quite interesting how much you get up with a swiffer after you have already swept. I think we both hit out clutter max. I took a shower and then we watched the shows we had taped over the week. Once firefly was over Caritas and I walked to Dollar Tree to try and find something to use as a rolling pin. We were successful, and came home victorious. I only spent one dollar. :)

For dinner tonight it was homemade perogies! YUM! Caritas had found the recipe online and we decided to give it a try today. That is why we needed a rolling pin thing. So Caritas made perogies and I helped! (grins) We overdid the potatoes and have filling the freezer for next time. The filling had potatoes, crushed garlic and cheddar cheese. Very good. We also made a small batch with dill added. The dill was strong the way I like it.

Now the guys are playing another game of babylon 5 wars, and I am relaxing. I wish we could find our game of Grave Robbers, but it has gone awalking. We know it is somewhere in the house, but no idea where. Maybe I can talk Caritas into playing Chez Geek or something.
