Reality TV
Sep. 28th, 2002 03:38 pmI use to be happy in the fact that I hadnt been sucked into the whole reality TV craze that has been hitting the TV the last couple of seasons. I have seen a couple of episodes of each one maybe but they werent shows that caught my eye. I just wasnt interested.
Now that has changed and it is all because I have started to work out at the Y. They have 3 TVs on at the Y, A lexington station, CNN, and ESPN. The precor sits right in front of the tv that shows ESPN. They have a reality show on now that is called
Beg, Borrow and Deal.
There are 2 teams, 4 people/team, that have to travel cross country with no money credit cards, etc. They have to beg borrow and deal their way across the US while completing 10 tasks. They have a list of 40 tasks to choose from. All of them sports related. The prizes are Two tickets, all expenses paid, to four championship events of the next year.
I think the reason I am kinda sucked into this show is because I would so LOVE to do this. I looked at the application be on BB&D2. It isnt likely to happen since I am
a) not in good shape, and b) not a big sports fan. I just wish there was a chance. It would be alot of fun and a great experience.
