Day has started

Not alot of plans for today. My thoughts are with a friend that lost a relative. I worry and hope she and her family is doing well.

I didnt find anything in the paper today about what was going on at the house with the coroner van yesterday. Maybe tomorrow.

I called my prescription company and informed them that they still havent charged my account for my pills. She fixed it. I dont like having a missing charge for over a month. I did my good deed for the day. I figured eventually they would have sent me a bill. Now maybe I can balance the check book.

One more day closer to going to work. I think I am going to go work out at 12-1. My triceps and obliques are hurting today from the machines. I am back on track with at least writing down everything I eat.

I think I am going to go down into the basement now and get some cleaning done. I need to start organizing down there. Get the holiday stuff into totes. Maybe work on that for 1/2 hour before going to work out.

Daily Dose

Today I did get some work done on the basement but it still looks like a tornado hit it. I didnt go work out before taking Phaeton to work. I worked on the basement about 45-60 minutes. I was only planning on staying down there 20-30 minutes. Then it was time to eat alittle and take Phaeton to work. After taking him to work I headed over to get Caritas. We got home and since I still had another guest pass we went to the Y. I did 30 minutes on the Elliptical trainer! That is about 5-10 more minutes that I usually do. We wandered around some and asked about classes. They tried to get me to sign up for the 5K race. Yeah right. Maybe next year.

We got home and I had a snack and Caritas had her lunch. I called Jeshua and he said he was ready to be picked up. I got coupons and the meijer ad together before we headed out. We did a small run to meijer after getting Jeshua.

Spent: $36.08, saved $33.39. (coupons: $15.15, ad:$18.24) Not the greatest but not too bad. We had to get some cleaners. There just wasnt alot on sale this week. I am hoping next week to get a nice sale ad.

I really need to get my coupons organized again. I have stuff to file all over the place. It is quite annoying. It doesnt help that my coupon holders are STUFFED. I wish I could find a box to use or something. I still have to file the 100 I got when I traded last week. They are in an envelope. Not good at all.

Time for something for dinner. Not sure what yet.

And this is going to be my last post of the night. Tomorrow at 9:06 I will make my 906 post on 9/06 which will be my 1 year anniversary on LJ. :) I made my goal.

Today I spent some time looking up on websites for season premiers. I have found 6 of the 10 or so tv shows we are interested in watching.

Angel- 9pm on Sun Oct6th, Birds of Prey- 9pm on Wed Oct9th, Charmed- 8pm on Sun Sept22, Enterprise 8pm on Wed Sept18th, Buffy -8pm on Tues Sept24th, 24- 9pm on Tues Oct29th, Animal Precinct- 9pm Mon Sept 9th,

I have also looked into Stargate, Farscape, Monk, and Andromeda. I should find Trading Spaces, Changing Rooms, Ground Force, Busted, Emergency Vets, the new Twilight Zone, and maybe some others. Damn I could be a couch potato. Caritas just informed me that the TV Guide that we just got has listed many of the season premiers. She is yelling some to me as I type. Farscape and Stargate start in January. Andromeda should be the week of Sept 30th. Monk is going on right now. Monk is a VERY good show. I want to see the rebroadcast of the series premier I think this weekend.

I called DishNetwork today to try and get a waiver so we can get ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX out of Atlanta. I really do not want to have to get cable. We can use rabbit ears for a couple of the stations. We are so close to channel 18 that it's signal can overshadow 56 and one other station. We never get 56 in. Fox is what 24 is on and Caritas really likes that show. I will know in about 45 days.

Yes today was a geek of a day. :)
