Daily Dose
Aug. 13th, 2002 02:13 pmToday I got to work some on wireless and got 1/2 hour of surplus. That was nice. I went home and bummed around alittle before heading to the Y. I wanted to go during lap swim from 12-1. I got to the Y and into the pool by 12:02. :) I increased my workout by 2 laps, so ended on 20 laps (40 lengths) and it took my usual 1 min/length. The only annoying thing was that as I was finishing up a kid decided to take my kickboard to play with. He didnt ask, just grabbed it and went. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I alternate one lap using the kickboard, then 1 without. The lifeguard didnt see it, but a guy in the office did. He came out and informed the child that I was using the kickboard and what he did was wrong. I went over to the Y employee afterwards and thanked him for what he did.
I rewarded myself with a vege salad from Subway. The only prob is that they were out of cucumbers. When I got home I added refried beans, tuna and the fat free ranch dressing. YUM, very filling and good.
My bp has been pretty good the couple times during the day I have taken it today. Like right now it is 115/74 with a pulse of 92 I have a slight headache from breathing in some water.
Now much else going on. Thinking about a nap. :)
