I have reserved the cheapo car from Enterprise for the weekend special of $9.99/day. They tried to get me into one model up talking about the metro or similiar car not having power steering. I dont really car, want cheap not bells and whistles.
I am now trying to search for a hotel close to downtown, but not one of the ones that have con discounts because they are still WAY expensive. I called red roof, and with my entertainment book discount the hotel that is 4 miles from the convention center would only be $60 for the night, instead of the $101. Now I have to also take into account parking fees. I figure I will park in lot we did for Marcon and will have to go in out maybe twice. That would be $18.
I also want to make sure to have food money and of course some spending money. Get Dragonstorm Cards. :)
Still kinda want someone to go with, but also excited about going by myself. I havent had much time to do things alone. I wont be wondering if others are ok, and having a good time.

Jun. 7th, 2002 04:37 pmI took a 1/2 day. I started getting a headache after lunch, and the nap that I took didnt help it any. Maybe it was because I didnt think I would sleep, so didnt set the alarm. Next time I looked at the clock it was 2:41, and I had to leave by 2:45. Not fun. I get into work and decided to try for a 1/2 day. Really didnt think I would get it but they granted it. I have one 1/2 day left from that vacation week. I put in to take it on july 12th for AC.
I am forcing Jeshua to go to a concert tonight for his own good. He really likes christian music, and this band I think he all if not almost all the albums. The tickets are only $8. It feels like he has given up a big part of his life, Christian Music, because it is something we dont share. I really really really really dont want him to do that. I think he gets more depressed when he doesnt have music around. We have found some stuff that we both enjoy, usually soundtracks. :) He is expanding his musical tastes, but his first love is christian music. I want him to be able to go to concerts and have a good time even if I dont want to go.

I look at he 6 letters and have trouble finding the 3 letter words, let alone find the 6 letter word to advance to the next level. I guess it would be cheating to bring up the anagram site I know of and punch the 6 letters in to find the words. :) It would proably work. Ok, no probably about it, it does work. *Grins*
I called around to some other hotels and the cheapest I have found within a 10 mile radius so far is $44. I have also emailed a list I am on to see if anyone has crash space. Maybe I should ask Knightaudit if he could get me a nice rate. My biggest problem would be finding my way around a strange city. I have given myself a limit of 50 miles over the allowed 450 miles. That would be $12.50 more than the rental.
Jeshua still hasnt called so the concert must be good. :) I am so glad I got him to go. Phaeton called and it is going to be a 10:15 night. We might head out to eat after I pick up the guys.
The battery in our cordless phone is dead. I was going to take the phone down to the basement when I went to play with the kitties and feed them. No such luck. Instead I went upstairs to get the phone with the LONG cord. I plugged it into the outlet in the kitchen and brought it down as far as it would go. It was sitting on the 4th step. I am going to miss the kittens when they are gone.

Foster Kittens
Jun. 7th, 2002 11:52 pmI honestly dont know if I am going to be able to foster again. They are so cute and cuddly and I would love to keep all 3. There is no way I could do that without being killed my sleep by everyone else in this house. I know they will find good homes because they are cute little kittens. Of course I may want to keep them because they are cute little kittens. I realize they grow up to be CATS. Right now it is nice to go downstairs and snuggle them alittle as they purr up a storm.
Anyone in Lexington KY, I can highly recommend 3 gray kittens that will be coming up for adoption soon.
