Well the Goddess has spoken

And told us that some of our tax refund will be going to repair the water leak that happened today. I went into Jeshua's room to turn off his computer and started to hear water. He has the bathroom pipes access panel in his closet. I had to investigate and went to the basement. That is where I hear and see water gushing out of the hot water pipe coming off the hot water heater. No idea how long, but Phaeton seems to think that it wasnt very long since it was gushing and we dont have inches of water on the floor. I couldnt get the main pipe turned off. I just couldnt get the angle so Phaeton came down and was finally able to turn off the main water line. Then we had to deal with moving boxes away from the wet zone. Luckily the only things that might be damaged are some pictures. Everything else was in a thick box that didnt soak thru, or is old clothing that I can just rewash or is stuff that didnt mean much. Some of our saved boxes got really wet. No loss there. It was interesting to see the pattern the water took to get across the floor.

Of course we have no water till this is fixed, and damnit I have to go the bathroom *Grins*

Morning

ITs morning. I am awake, barely. I got up, dressed and drove to the thortons down the street to get the key and freeze my ass in their bathroom. Go me! Is it too early to call the plumber?

And to show how this day is going to go, I am on my last pair of clean underwear.
