Productive morning and ramblings

I did some phone calls today. The first was to check up on the building inspector. Found out she is going to try and get ahold of the contractor today. Good Luck. All I want is my money back. When that happens we can get a real contractor in here to do the work. He owes us about $1000.

I called the mortgage company back finally and set up meeting with them for next tues. Now I need to go get all the paperwork together. I know I have it around. We got our W2s. I am still waiting on interest things for the student loans and then to the IRS. We might head there on Tues to get things done. We could use the money right now.

I went down and paid the car registration. I almost forgot since I had already subtracted the amount from the checkbook I must have paid it. *grins* It only took a 1/2 hour. Pretty good for it being so close to the end of the month. The line wasnt as long as last time I went.

I called to try and figure out what other dentists if any in town take the credit card we have. I really dont like the dentist we started seeing. I do not want to keep my appt today, but I am going to give her one last shot to get this tooth right. She wont charge me to fix a prob she caused. *sighs* Sometimes I am too nice.

I called Trane to get copies of the owner manuals for the furnace and AC unit we have at the house. I should have done it months ago. I have a sneaking suspicion that the previous owners are the ones who installed the system. No chance of an extended warranty then. I know we didnt find out all we should have when we got this house. Live and learn. Next time if there is a next time will be better. And we will be trying to fix all the problems this house has. Honestly though I think we got a great deal for this place.

I really dont like my scale and want a new one. I need to stop getting cheap stuff. For some things it is great, but others are more trouble than they are worth. another example is the DVD player. At least I did get the extended warranty on that.

Mouth is numb

And I figured out that the numbing agent makes my heart race. Not good. At least this time she got enough in that I didnt feel any drilling. Last time I could feel it. She had stuck me 2 times before and I just wanted to get it over with. I am hoping with this tooth that 3rd time is a charm and the filling is in there right. I am still undecided about changing dentists again. When I go I like her. Just when it has problems I get upset.

I had a credit on my account so I got the soniccare toothbrush ($69). jeshua has been wanting it to help with our teeth cleaning. Of course it will only help if I actually use it. *grins* I wish I had teeth like D. He hardly ever brushes and when he goes to get a cleaning they are like all looks great. *pouts* I am going to be like my mom who even with brushing regularly has lost 2 teeth. Oh well got to love genetics.

I walked home from the dentist. It was about 1000 steps. That was my only major walking today. I did clean out some of the basement. I should finish up down there. It was a bitch changing the filter in the heating/AC unit. I really want to see about getting a home improvement loan and just redo the basement. It could add so much space if we finished it out. Or at least finish 1/2 of it. I know D has so many plans he would love to do with the house.
Jeshua went to his class tonight. I hope he enjoys it. I am going to go take a short nap. Need alittle alone time.
