Snack Day

Today at work for my workgroup was snack day. I didnt bring anything because there was just SO MUCH stuff. Not only did I not bring anything, I took stuff when I left tonight. I am such a moocher at times. It would have just gone to waste, and I by no means took it all. I got a bag of chips, package of hot dog buns, (they ran out of hotdogs) some cookies, and some cupcakes. That is it. *grins* I basically had all my food for free today. I like days like this. I also worked wireless most of the day. I love working wireless at times and still being part of the wireline group. The wireless group is in forced/open overtime right now. Wireline is getting surplus. I get moved to wireless, and then later get offered surplus. Best of both worlds. The kicker, I could take surplus for 1.5 hours, and then go down to the desk, get a temp number and work OT in wireless for 1 hour. Thus still getting paid the same amount, but getting off work 1/2 hour early. *grins* That just kicks ass.

Now I have to work on bills, and think about shopping. But that is for my my next post.

Holiday Blahs

I am just so not in the mood for the season. We have no tree, no decorations, no presents, etc etc. I have no idea what to get anyone. We dont have alot of money. I want to figure out small inexpensive personal gifts for my family. I just have no clue what to get. I am so at a loss. There are some people I can look at stuff and go, that is so HER or HIM. I know it would be a great gift. Right now that ability has shut down it feels like. I keep asking others because I dont want to see the face fall thing when they open the gift. That hurts. I wish I had decorated. Maybe that would have helped. Now I feel it is too late.
