Lunch was very very very good. :) We walked to the restaurant. On the way there I asked a construction worker what would be going into the old Save A Lot Grocery Store building. He informed me that it will be a DOLLAR TREE!!! I nearly fainted. A Dollar Tree that rivals the size of the one behind Golden Corral in Louisville within walking distance. BE still my heart!!!! That brightened my mood. *grins*

We got to the restaurant early and wandered around the store part seeing many lovely things for sale. They have aromatherapy oils and books, burt bee's products, many crafty items, as well as a small garden nursery. They also have samples set out of some of their mixes and I had my appetizers of crackers and dill dip and crackers and beer cheese. YUM!

Once we got seated we scanned the menu. We were surrounded mostly by little old ladies out for the luncheon. I love this restaurant because of this feel. It is definitely not someplace to take the guys. *grins* I got water and the pasta salad of the day, linguine with crab meat, tiny shrimp and fresh veges with a creamy tarragon dressing. It came with veges and the dill dip as well as a small slice of pumpkin bread. *happy content full sigh* They were out of the quiche I would have ordered. It was the spinach and feta cheese quiche. That would have been good. We turned down dessert even though the Dark Choc Reese Cup cheesecake was faintly calling my name.

We left the restaurant and quickly made our way back home just in time to take Phaeton to work. After dropping him off we headed downtown because Caritas had another interview lined up for today. They called this morning and wanted to do the interview today. I dropped her off and ran to the bank and got gas in the car. I got back downtown and there was an open metered spot right in front of the building. My lucky day. I got out and put in 2 nickles (24 minutes) Since I wasnt sure where she would come out I got back into the car, opened the windows alittle and leaned my chair back to wait. I was afraid a cop would come by and ask me what was up. That didnt happen. She came out with 5 minutes still left on the meter and off we went. I had thought that we would go to Meijers, but the warm afternoon and late night caught up to me and I made the executive decision to change my mind.

We started on toward home and got onto a very crowded for the afternoon broadway drive. Soon we found out why. A truck had BURNED and the police and fire were still trying to clean everything up. This truck was gutted by the fire. I hope noone was hurt. We had to be moved over into the left hand lane of the oncoming traffic.

Now we are home and it is NAP time!
