Contractors are almost done with the room. Phaeton is just chomping at the bit for them to be done. I am going to sign surplus today. I havent signed in 3 days. That is a record for me I think. I am just so tired this morning. Usually it takes me about a 1/2 hour to 1 hour to drift off to sleep, last night I zonked out. That is not good for me. When that happens it means I am running on a sever lack of sleep. I woke up and I dont feel refreshed.

Ok, now I must stumble out, get some breakfast and then head to work. Go me.

you're going to write on the cans at the dented can store?

Sorry, I am going to sign up for Surplus. We have a book at work that you can sign your name in and if they have too many people at work they will go down the list sending people home. You dont get paid, but it doesnt count against you like if you went home sick.

man, it would be so nice to be able to do that without penalty. i bet with perks like that they don't pay you worth a damn, though. am i right? or am i unreasonably cynical?

We are union. Right now top pay is $13.70, if you work sunday you get time and 1/2, splits get an extra $2.50 a day, and if you work after 7:01 you get an extra 60cents an hour. :) So I am giving up alot if I take surplus.

Dont forget, you need to add caritas_skunk (Grins) She is not adding people unless they add her first.

dang, that's right decent, especially for our area. guess i'm cynical then. :)


duh, yes i need to add caritas. i'm in a depression fog, sorry. can't even remember to brush my teeth the first three times i wander into the bathroom to do so.
