Coupon trading is annoying sometimes

I am looking on mycoupons to trade for some coupons that I need this week, and out the leeches come. I refuse to pay 10cents for a $1 coupon. Especially when it is off a multiple. I got an email back from someone who was offering starkist pouch tuna coupons ($1 off 2 7oz, or 3 3oz) I stated what I was willing to pay for the 10 coupons I wanted in the email I sent her. She responded that she wanted $1.34, that is 10cents/coupon plus S&H. I had posted my wish list on mycoupons and had already gotten an offer where the person only wants 3cents/coupon. I really want to email this money hungry coupon person and tell her sorry I dont give in to leeches and someone else is willing to get me 10 coupons for 3cents a piece. Stupid twit. I am in trading coupons to get some I want and to have fun, but to BUY the damn things.

The last time I got a little snotty with someone on MyCoupons for charging too much, I got a snotty reply telling me I should specify how much I'm willing to pay in my post so as to not "waste her time". I guess "reasonable" is a relative term, but I agree with you, 10% is too much, particularly when it's off 2 or more. I have paid 10% before, but that was for rare coupons off 1 that I *really* wanted, and only one person had them. That's why I don't say "I won't pay 10%", because sometimes I will. But not for a coupon that everyone out there has but me. ;)

The thing is my first email to her stated what I was willing to pay. 75cents for 10 coupons and postage. She came back with she wanted $1.34. Instead I was able to get 12 from someone else for a 70 cents PPHF.

I will pay 10% on ocassion as well, just not for these.
