Sleepwear

I sleep mostly nude. With this being the case why do I have at least 10 nightgowns? I know I have used 2 of them for costumes at halloween. I use to sleep in these. Then something happened. I think my sleeping pattern changed so that if I do sleep in them I get STRANGLED! Now they just sit in my drawer. Every now and then coming out as a costume or for a night when I know it wont be on long. *nudgewink* I did love organizing them though. I loved running my hands over the satin.

They also might be handy for sleeping in more public areas - like if you share a hotel room with other people, or at a slumber party. Personally, I much prefer nightshirts. Anything below knee-length is annoying, tho. :)

I have one 'granny' nightgown I take to sleepovers. For hotel rooms alot of times I just use a t-shirt.

I have found myself in love with a particular set of men's pj's. Perfect for overnights, no matter where I am. Throw on an oversized sweater, and suddenly I am dressed for waffle house - no one is the wiser!

I am, at this very minute, wearing a chemise I made for a Renfaire.

I, too, sleep in the nude, but when I am hanging around the house, I usually wear a chemise. I own three.

If I'm sleeping with someone else, then I'll sleep nude. But when I'm by myself, I always get cold! :)

I sleep naked also, but i tend to kind of shed varying degrees of clothes as soon as I get home. it's handy to have nightgowns around then, so that if someone shows up at the door I can toss one on.

that's pretty much all i use them for. oh, i also wear them if the kids have a sleepover guest, because you never know when the kids will require you in the middle of the night.

That is what my 12 year old bathrobe is for. :) And when away I usually just sleep in the t-shirt I wore that day.
